Congratulations to Ipswich Orpheus Chorale for a wonderful Qld Eisteddfod!
1st place in Chief Chorus, Grand Madrigal, Men's Chorus and Small Ensemble
2nd place in Sacred Chorus, Hymn Singing and Modern Chorus
3rd place in Music Theatre Chorus and Ladies Chorus.
Overall we came 2nd in the aggregate (by 1 point) to Blackstone Ipswich Cambrian Choir. Congratulations to David Webster and Blackstone Ipswich Cambrian Choir, Kim Kirkman and Caloundra Chorale, Granite Belt Choir, Queensland University Musical Society and all eisteddfod participants for a wonderful weekend of gorgeous singing and musical camaraderie.
